Reset Network Settings Using CMD

Use CMD commands like Winsock reset and TCP/IP reset to troubleshoot Windows network issues safely.

Windows network problems can sometimes be fixed by resetting DNS, Winsock, or TCP/IP settings. These commands are useful but should be reviewed before running.

Flush DNS

ipconfig /flushdns

Reset Winsock

netsh winsock reset

Reset TCP/IP

netsh int ip reset

Important warning

Winsock and TCP/IP reset commands usually require Administrator permission and may require a restart. They may affect VPN or custom network software settings.
